3. Click on the operation area, you can see the popup window as below:

4. Select “Serial” and the correct COM port which is connecting to the gateway in the drop down boxes. Then click

“OK”.

Note: Serial is the default management mode of DTU configurator.

5. Select the correct COM port, then click button.

After that you can see the popup windows “Operation Succeed”.

Note: The RS-232 connector uses the standard PINOUT. A direct male DB9 to female DB9 cable can be used to

connect to a PC’s serial port. If you use a USB-to-serial product to configure the gateway may cause unexpected

errors when configuring the gateway.
